• Farm paddock/ Rotation plan - Following an assessment of the available soil types, weed profile, rainfall, machinery and managerial ability, a suitable enterprise rotation for each paddock can be developed and implemented. Consideration is given to the relative economic return and physical sustainability of a rotation. FARMANCO has developed a rotational margin model that is able to examine the profitability of a range of crop and/or pasture rotations. The model can be used to develop average client margins or be used for individual clients to look at the best rotations on a paddock by paddock basis.
