
Greg Easton joined Farmanco 2009 and is based in the Mundaring office. Greg comes from a farming background having managed and operated a 1780Ha farming property in the Upper Great Southern. More recently Greg has been a Commercial Banking Manager with Bankwest.

Consulting (Farm Management - Financial)
- Compile annual reviews analysing a business's financial and physical performance using profit analysis and reporting enterprise margins, profit, equity, liquidity, ratios / indicators and long term viability.
- Benchmark business performance.
- Prepare cash flow budgets (Agrimaster).
- Collate and reconcile cashbook's
- Analyse enterprise and rotational margins.
- Develop finance plans for seasonal funding, debt reconstruction, property purchase, machinery purchase, business restructuring.
- Working knowledge of the income tax system and its implications for the farming business.
Consulting (Farm Management - Technical)
- Knowledge of crop agronomy (cereals, canola, Lupins, field peas, Faba beans and chickpeas) and pasture agronomy (legume based) as it relates to Western Australia.
- Knowledge of crop protection including pesticide selection, spray adjuvants, pesticide application, and management of herbicide resistance.
- Rotational and Nutritional strategies for crops and pastures.
Computers & Software
- Conversant with the operation of personal computers and associated hardware.
- Knowledge of various software including spreadsheets, word processors, specific agricultural applications and internet software.
- Help clients with cashbook coding, data entry and budgeting.

Previous Employment & Experience
January 2003-2009 Bankwest
Entered the Bankwest Rural and Regional Graduate programme commencing employment at Esperance before transferring to Northam where I worked for two years. For personal and professional development I then transferred to Perth working in Commercial Banking.
This progression saw me co-managing a portfolio with total borrowing in excess of $120 million consisting of privately owned business and midsized property developers.
1994 – 2001 F Easton & Son
Managed the family farm; a 1780 hectare property located in the Upper Great Southern. The key enterprises consisted of 3,500 head self replacing Merino flock and a mixed cereal cropping program of 1200 hectares.
