History & Vision

FARMANCO Management Consultants is one of the largest farm management consultancy practices in Western Australia. It evolved from the Dowerin and Districts Farm Management Advisory Service and was established as FARMANCO in 1978. Ken Sevenson took over the practice in 1979 with around 70 farm business clients.

Our team of consultants deals with over 400 farm businesses, with most being long-term FARMANCO clients. Our clients produce an average of 1.25 million tonnes of grain for export each year, run 1 million sheep and produce 5.0 million kilograms of wool from a total farming asset base of $2.1 billion.

FARMANCO's vision is to be the "Pre-eminent Farm Management Consultancy" in Western Australia. We aim to achieve this by:

  • Having a successful consultancy practice that is innovative and diversified.
  • Maintaining the respect of our clients and peers.
  • Encouraging personal growth and development of our clients.
  • Active participation of clients in driving the development of the services we provide.
  • The ongoing development of skills and abilities of FARMANCO consultants and support staff.
  • The provision of a supportive and challenging environment for the FARMANCO team.
