PROJECT OBJECTIVE

This can help you to compare:
• Machinery replacement—understand better efficiencies through different machinery fleet sizes.
• Understand the economic benefits of higher accuracy RTK GPS systems and section control for reducing overlap.
• Plan for CTF.
• In highly variable topography, plan a path where machinery travels across slope to minimize erosion and soil loss.
• Opportunity to look at planning drainage and water management.
• Understand time requirements for different sized machinery fleets—spraying, harvest, seeding, spreading.
• Verge is looking to develop tools to understand capacity and service units into the future—where to place field bins, refill stations, etc.
